 Practices and Meets

Parent Expectations:

  • Please recognize that the Conqueror program is a Christian competitive program in which our actions shall be pleasing to the Lord.
  • I understand that event entries are at the sole discretion of the coaches, based on his/her decisions as to what will make the team the most competitive. Therefore, my child may or may not be able to compete in the events of their choice.
  • I ensure that my child is home educated and he/she is passing . If my child does not maintain a satisfactory level, I will notify the coach.
  • I will encourage my child to abide by the team rules and program guidelines.
  • I understand that if I have an issue with a coach I will communicate with that person directly. If we are still not able to resolve the issue, the Program Director has the sole discretion as to whether the matter should be taken to the entire LHC board.
  • I understand that practice is an essential facet of the team. Middle school athletes are expected to participate in all practices and 75% of the meets. High school athletes are expected to participate in 100% of the practices and 100% of the meets. Of course, illness or emergencies are exceptions.
  • I will meet my financial obligations to the program by the stated due date on the registration form.
  • I will make sure that my child or myself communicates with a coach when leaving a track meet.
  • I understand that only athletes are allowed on the perimeter of the track and the track itself during practices and meets.
  • I understand that if I fail to abide by this code of conduct, the LHC governing body has the authority to ask my family to leave the program and no fees would be refunded.
